Guess what?? :D I've decided to do something funny for money and do a little dare-devil themed fundraising idea involving, yes, dares. The following is a list of dares I'm going to hopefully accomplish if I get 3 or more sponsors for each:
10p: -Wear weird hairstyle for a meeting
- Pull weird face throughout meeting
- Have a hug-a-stranger day
20p: - Wear blazer on head all day
- Wear clothes backwards for half the day
- Wear shoes on hands throughout a meeting
30p: - Spend the whole of lunch break sat on a bench with coat on backwards and hood over face
- Randomly lie down on the floor in the office like a snake for about 5 minutes
- Say I love you to three random people
40p: - Talk with tongue out all day (possible? maybe? :S)
- Wear clothes backwards all day
- Give love heart signals to miserable looking people who just need a bit o love
50p: - Wear a Harry Potter scar and glasses all day
- Wear panda nose hat over face half the day
- Call colleagues mum/dad throughout the day
60p: - Answer with no to everybody's question
- Tie someone to myself so we're back to back all day
- Give my boss a hug and refuse to let go
70p: - Write YOLO across forehead for the day
- Wear hair in mohawk style
- Paint entire face red
80p: - Shout "I'M TRYING TO CONCENTRATE ON EATING EVERYONE PLEASE BE QUIET" with a megaphone in a city such as London
- Draw on a monobrow to wear for the day
- Wear lipstick scribbly around area surrounding lips
90p: - Wear a moustache and beard all day, and if someone asks about it I'll insist they're imagining
- Wear short black wig all day (NOTE: I have long blonde hair so it would make a big difference!)
- Get a pink dip dye for the day (temporary pink spray)
£1: - Come into work wearing a onesie
- Patrol streets wearing rollerskates

Getting involved with guerilla art #3
Moss painting
Here's a step by step guide to creating street art with moss:
You will need: 12oz buttermilk
Several clumps garden moss (look under wet shady places to find moss)
Plastic container with lid
Blender or food processer
Paintbrush
1. Gatherthe moss and pop into the blender, crumbling them slightly
2. Add buttermilk and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour mixture into plastic container.
3. Find a damp shady wall in which you can paint on your moss mixture. Paint on design using stencil or freehand.
4. Return to the area you applied the moss mixture to ensure the mixture is kept moist.
Results: The bits of blended moss will have grown into a rooted plant before colonizing the whole area. What's not to love? (Apart from moss mush everywhere)

Getting involved with guerilla art #2
Making your mark with quotes
I decided to take a leaf out of my Guerilla Art Kit and try using quotes for making inspirational street art around my neighbourhood. I've used the following quotes and turned them into kind of a piece of art.
This one says "start your own revolution, infiltrate the masses" which is from a random quote off google that I liked. I might stick it on a mailbox or a wall again so people can have a good look at it.This quote is from Ghandi and says "you must be the change you wish to see in the world". It's quite thought provoking and Banksy has done similar pieces involving the theme of world change. Some ideas for you to try could include chalking quotes on pavements; brick and concrete walls and anywhere else where you can chalk on. You could even try doing moss painting quotes (see post 3 which I'll be putting up soon) using stencils.
What have you been up to this week? Got any street art ideas you'd like to share with us? Leave a comment and have fun!

Bringing objects to life
I'm using a moustache, glasses and a speech bubble saying, "Dream." to start off with. I'll probably stick them onto something like a wall.
Some ideas for you to do could be eye stickers on mailboxes or on desks and lockers at your work or school. Perhaps you could even make little figurines and dot them around your neighbourhood. Make a map and hang those round your street so people can find your unique creations. I'll post Keri Smith's version of the map later. So what are you doing around your street? Leave your stories in the comments below and have fun!

Book review: The Guerilla Art Kit
Keri Smith is the author of many mind-opening books including Wreck This Journal and This is Not a Book, and I've enjoyed all three so far. Please check out her website here for her blog.
The Guerilla Art Kit teaches you the legal ways to making good street art without spray paint and includes unique ways such as gardening in cracks of pavements, hanging origami from trees, putting googly eyes on mailboxes and even a portable idea dispenser which I'm currently trying out.
Keri gives you her insight and opinions of some of the street art she carries out and she also gives you challenges at the end of the book like, "Document the passing of time" and "Transform garbage", giving you a chance to use your imagination to the fullest and make the most out of this book.
Have you read this book yet? Leave your comments below!

Finally finished my tiger drawing!
I'm dead chuffed with how my tiger drawing has come together. It took about a week to do and as I was browsing images for a good cat picture to draw from I ended up drawing this lovely looking tiger here instead. I only used three pencils - F, B and 2H. Compared to how it was starting off it wasn't going too well until I started blending a little more. Leave your comments or reviews on it below and thanks again!
